Church Life

Joyful Giving
Joyful Giving is a group within the church that aim to serve not just the church fellowship but the local community too. We organize events throughout the year for people of all ages. The events take place in our St Vincent Street building, our new venu at Panmurefield Baptist Centre and outings to local places.

Everyone young and old are invited to join us, we advertise the events on our Facebook page, flyer drop local houses and place posters in local businesses.

For more information about any of the events listed for this year please contact us.

The name Joyful Giving means to give your time joyfully to each other within the church fellowship, give your time joyfully to serve the local community and give our financial resources joyfully to support the work of the Lord.

Fellowship Care
Senior Citizens - The Pastoral Committee organise an annual outing and high tea for the senior citizens in the fellowship and a special tea at Christmas.

Meals for mums - Meals are delivered to families with new babies for a week after the baby is born.

Flowers - The pastoral team organise the flower rota and the delivery of flowers to members of the fellowship.

Pastoral Care
Our Minister, Brian has overall pastoral responsibility for God's people in Broughty Ferry Baptist Church. He will visit those will are ill or who need practical or spiritual advice and support.

Our pastoral visitors will try to be aware of any pastoral need you may have and will try to support you. They will liaise with the Minister, Pastoral Convener or Deacon if they feel you need more support than they feel able to offer and they will bring any needs to the Pastoral pray group meeting for prayer.

If you would like support from the Pastoral Team or become aware of people who are ill or who need practical or spiritual support, please contact Brain Talbot (Tel 01382 779364).

Children and Teenagers
We have a wide range of activities and ministries which cater for the young people in our church and the local community. More information is available on our Children & Family and Youth & Teens sections.
